Rev. Chris Connell

Pastor

Pastor Chris joined our team at Calvary in 2020. He considers it a great honor to be the pastor of a mission minded and mission purposed body of Christ. He and his wife, Karen, have served together in ministry for almost 35 years. Pastor Chris has preached the gospel for 40 years. He and his family have served churches across three states. They are blessed with two adult twin daughters, Hannah and Heather.

Gary Uptain

Student Minister

Brother Gary joined our team at Calvary in 2025. He and his wife, Caitlin, have three wonderful children: Lawson, Holland, and Watson. Gary surrendered his life to Jesus in September 2022. Very soon after, God placed a calling for discipling young people on his life. As a family, the Uptains began Christian clubs in two local elementary schools and worked in the children’s ministry in their church. As his relationship with the Lord grew, he knew God had more in store for his life.

We are blessed as a church to have Brother Gary leading our student ministry here at Calvary!

Lisa Moore

Children’s Director

Mrs. Lisa has faithfully served as Children's Director at Calvary since 2002. With a heart for guiding the next generation in their faith, she is passionate about creating a loving, Christ-centered environment where children can grow spiritually and build strong foundations in God's Word. Mrs. Lisa has been married to her husband, Artie, for many years, and together they cherish the blessings of family. They are the proud parents of two sons and joyful grandparents of six grandchildren, who continually inspire her to work with children.

Mrs. Lisa's dedication, warmth, and experience have made her a valuable leader and mentor with the Calvary family.
